For nearly two decades, Handmade Chelsea has been at the forefront of the London, and UK, show calendar for craft. Running over three days in November and held in the beautiful surroundings of Chelsea Old Town Hall, the event showcases over 100 of the finest designers the UK craft industry has to offer. Representing every possible craft, Handmade Chelsea celebrates Ceramics, Glass, Jewellery, Fashion & Textiles, Furniture & Wood, Metalwork, Sculpture, Mix Media and Prints.

The Venue

Set in the iconic King’s Road in Chelsea, Chelsea Old Town Hall is a beautiful Edwardian building constructed at the height of the Art Nouveau period. With its wooden panelling, painted ceilings, stained glass and decorative ironwork, Chelsea Old Town Hall provides the perfect setting for the work of the finest UK craft practitioners.

Our venue is a One Marylebone which is a converted Sir John Soane ‘Waterloo’ Church, opposite Great Portland Street Tube Station beside Regents Park. The show will take place over 4 floors in this beautiful building with a café serving freshly made lunches in the double height crypt space.

A selection of makers curated by Handmade In Britain will sell their work in Lambeth Palace Great Hall, as part of a larger Christmas market and fair.

Everything you need to prepare for Christmas - a market of professional craft stalls; home produce; Christmas tree ordering as well as festive food and drink all in the wonderful setting of Lambeth Palace courtyard.

A programme of music and fun will run throughout the day with family-friendly stalls; an activity trail; nativity scene and a visit from a 'special guest'.

The event will be rounded off by a Grand Christmas Draw and auction.

Handmade Oxford Virtual Craft Fair

Come join me at Handmade in Britain’s Interactive Virtual Craft Fair from 15 - 19 September where I will be exhibiting my products alongside other designer-makers working across the UK! Not only will you be able to shop for unique handmade items, you will also be able to watch interesting demonstration videos and participate in live Q&A sessions.

Every evening of Made Makers, the online craft fair, four makers will tell their stories via the presentation method of Pecha Kucha via Zoom.

What IS Pecha Kucha you ask?!

Pecha Kucha (Japanese for chit chat) is a presentation format of 20 slides for 20 seconds each; a total of 400 seconds. Each maker will talk live over their visual slide show and tell their story in that mere 6mins 40secs!

It will be an exciting and dynamic way to get to know some of the exhibitors of Made Makers Online and discover their backgrounds, techniques and maybe even secrets. Who knows what you might learn during these bitesize talks!
