I'm very excited to be exhibiting at this new show curated by the fantastic Tutton & Young MADE LONDON team! There will be two shows – 17-20 and 22-25 March. Each will present around 60 makers and change completely for the second show (so try to catch BOTH shows!). CHELACHE will be there in WEEK 2, exhibiting and selling our wares alongside our good friends TEAL.
THE VENUE – is a specially built, heated and floored temporary pavilion in Canada Square Park, by Cesar Pelli’s One Canada Square tower, the centrepiece of Canary Wharf and for 20 years the tallest building in Britain. Refreshments can be bought from any of Canary Wharf’s various bars, cafes and restaurants and will be allowed into the venue. Canary Wharf has one of the United Kingdom’s largest, collections of Public Art. For a fascinating self-guided walk pick up an Art Map in the pavilion.
WHAT TO EXPECT – A friendly, relaxed, highest quality contemporary craft and design fair, where the makers themselves meet the public to discuss inspirations, design processes and future projects, enabling maker / consumer relationships. Work can be bought at the fair or commissions can be taken.
